The BAND-IT Heavy Duty Banding Tool is a high-quality tool which is used to tension Stainless Steel Band. The C00369 is compatible with BAND-IT®, SureFast or other types of Stainless Steel Banding, and should be used with Giant Band and Giant Buckles.

The BAND-IT C00369 was built to last. It is ideal for heavy-duty applications such as cable clamping, concrete pumping, hose clamps, transformer clamping and railway sleeper banding applications. It is also often used to tension banding for cable laying, sign mounting, pipe marking and within the oil and gas industry.

This Heavy Duty Banding Tool has a built-in cutter, which allows you to cut off the tail of the clamp being formed, and a spring-loaded gripper lever which improves ease of use and also improves the band tensioning.

This tool works by using the heavier thrust bearing and spinning handle that pulls the clamped band away from its buckle causing tension to form around the application. Afterwards, the band is cut and sealed with the ‘ears’ that are on the buckle.

Similar to the SureFast 1200, this BAND-IT C00369 heavy duty banding tool is built to the same high-quality, but using stronger materials. This tool has a heavier thrust bearing and a stronger spinning handle which pulls the clamped band away from the buckle, causing tension to form around the application.

The BAND-IT C00369 weighs just 2.3kg and can tension, clamp and cut widths of Stainless Steel Band ranging from 6.4mm up to 19mm. (1/4” to 3/4") Designed for applications that require extra strength, this tool can apply 3300lbs of force, making it ideal for heavy duty use of cables, pipes, conduits and hoses etc. Having a 25% larger tension screw, the C00369 also has a heavier handle and bearing for durability, making it ideal for municipal applications and large diameter hose clamping.
