The SureFast SF1411 Strapping Tensioner Tool is a great alternative to the SureFast SF1401 Swiss tensioner which offers similar qualities. The SF1411 tool can be used with all types of plastic strapping when used with either buckles or seals as part of your application.

Good for Vertical Surfaces

It is seen as a high advantage when a strapping tool can be used on vertical surfaces. Some strapping tools can only be used on flat packaged items or surfaces which prove to be a problem when working with tall pallets. Solving all your problems, the SureFast SF1411 can be used on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.

Securing the items with buckles:

This method is the more preferred way of strapping items as it requires only one tool and buckles. (Buckles can be reused!)

There are two types of buckles, galvanized (shiny) and phosphated (dull). The type of buckle is chosen depending on the type of strap which you use.

The instructions are simple:

The strap is fed through the buckle and tensioned by hand. The SureFast SF1411 tool is then used to further strap tensioning. When the optimal tightness is reached, the handle of the SF1411 is pushed down to cut the strap.

Securing the items with seals:

This is another popular way of securing items on pallets. Seals can be used with either strapping tensioners like the SF1411 or with combination tools. Both types of tools have their own advantages.

Once the seals and the compatible strapping is chosen:

A strapping tensioner would bring the strapping to tension, a seal would be placed on the strap and a sealer would be used to crimp it into place. To finish up the strapping process, the handle of the tool is pushed down to cut the strap and to release the tool from the application.
