What is the difference between this and the SureFast SF1200 tool?

Even though both tools do the same job, they are operated differently. The SureFast Bantam tool tensions Stainless Steel Banding via a handle mechanism whereas the SF1200 tensions using a ratchet system. The Bantam Tool’s compact handle operation allows the tool to be operated in much tighter, compact spaces with minimal access in comparison to standard banding tools.

Why would I use this tool?

The SureFast Bantam Tool is a compact, lightweight ratchet action tool with the built-in cutter that is used for applying tension to Stainless Steel Band over items. The advantage of this over the standard SF1200 Stainless Steel banding tool is that it is smaller, meaning it can be used in small, tight areas. Additionally, it is lighter which makes it more portable and easy to carry around with you, this tool also has an easy grip handle.

The SureFast Bantam tool is covered in zinc for increased resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
