HCL Smart Hybrid Band
The beauty of this band and buckle system is that it is manufactured either from Nylon 66, Nylon 12 GF or Acetal POM each coming in ¼” (3/4”) or 1 ¼” (32mm) sizes.
Each of these materials have different characteristics meaning you can choose the one that suits your application. If the correct polymer is chosen, the Smart® Band Hybrid can withstand Sour (CO2) & Sweet (H2S) Gases, UV beams, high temperatures and salt water.
Low profile buckle was designed in order to allow this system to be used in downhole applications and, just like Smart® Band Standard, this band comes in rolls which means it can be cut to required length.

About Nylon 12GF – (Glass Filled Variant)
The Glass Filled variant of hybrid buckles are exactly as they sound, glass filled. The addition of glass to the polymer increases the rigidity and strength of the buckle, which combined with the band, makes this system one of the strongest available on the market.
