This hydraulic tool has been designed for cutting copper, aluminum, and telephone cables with a diameter up to 4-3/4", this hydraulic cutting head is made from high strength special steel blades that are heat treated for a long service life. Cutting running cables can be done easily with the head opened by the blade's shape, which provides a clean cut. An automatic coupler is attached to this head in order to connect it to a hydraulic pump generating a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi.
